ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT
Monday, June 24 n 5: 30 am - 2:00 pm
The IDEA Annual Golf Tournament will be held on Monday,
June 24, at the Quicksilver Golf Club. Players will depart from
the hotel at 5: 30 am for a quick breakfast at the golf course
and practice with a modified shotgun start at 7:00 am. The
cost of play, breakfast, lunch and transportation is $185.

Enjoy a fun evening with your colleagues and friends playing
games and enjoying dinner without leaving the convention
center. After a buffet dinner is served, there will be a wide
variety of games to play including roulette, Jenga, basketball,
golf, virtual reality games and many more.

Spouse/Guest registration includes: conference receptions,
welcome dinner, breakfasts, Chair’s Banquet, Tuesday guided Pittsburgh city tour and Wednesday architectural walking

conference technical content. Children under the age of
5 are free; children over the age of 16 must pay Spouse/
Guest rate. We are unable to accommodate children under
16 at the Chair’s Banquet.
On Tuesday, June 25 (9:00 am - 4:00 pm), explore the city
of Pittsburgh including downtown, the Strip, Oakland and
a ride on the Duquesne Incline to view the city from above.
The tour includes bus transportation, a professional guide
to accompany the group and a ticket to ride the Incline to
On Wednesday morning, June 26 (9: 30 am-11:00 am),
discover downtown Pittsburgh’s fine old buildings and
learn the city’s history on a 1.5-hour guided walking tour.
Westin Convention Center Pittsburgh
The impeccable downtown location of the Westin Convention
Center Pittsburgh is ideal; the David L. Lawrence Convention
Center is directly connected to the hotel, while nearby
attractions like PNC Park and Heinz Field are only moments
away. IDEA has secured a special room rate for its attendees
at the Westin Convention Center Pittsburgh. Single/double
rates are $199++. This rate will be available until May 31, 2019,
or until the block is full.
Omni William Penn
The Omni William Penn is located just a few blocks away from
the David L. Lawrence Convention Center and steps away
from sports, cultural and shopping attractions. Adjacent to the
Pittsburgh Metro Rail System, you can explore the city with
ease. IDEA has secured a special room rate for its attendees
at the Omni William Penn. Single/double rates are $195++.

The David L. Lawrence Convention Center (DLCC) is the venue
for IDEA2019. Completed in 2003, it became the largest LEED®
Gold-Certified convention center in the world.
The DLCC is approximately 30 minutes away from Pittsburgh
International Airport (PIT) and directly across the street from
the Westin Convention Center Hotel. Located in the heart of
the city, nestled between downtown’s cultural district, the historic Strip district and the Allegheny River, the DLCC provides
optimal access for exploring all that Pittsburgh has to offer.

Tours A & B will visit Clearway Energy’s Energy Center
Pittsburgh Uptown plant and Duquesne University plant.
Tour C will visit the Eaton Experience Center. After the tour,
the bus will drive to Pittsburgh International Airport for
drop-off before returning to the hotel.
