advising members on the House Energy
Committee, Jimison has helped increase
awareness of the potential for district
energy and combined heat and power to
make a meaningful near-term contribution to energy security and environmental
stewardship.
A New Addition:
Poster Exhibition
IDEA members developed more
than 20 poster boards covering topic
areas of interest for display in the foyer
area for review by attendees. Each of the
posters consisted of a case study presented in a sequence of easy-to-read,
illustrated pages mounted on a large
bulletin board. Visitors were able to
walk through the poster exhibition at
any time, with special time set aside on
Tuesday to interact with the authors.
This was an important contribution to
augment the technical presentations
and panel discussions.
More than 20 poster boards were displayed at the annual conference and are available in the online
proceedings at www.districtenergy.org.
