Ground Transportation
The Hyatt Regency at Crystal City is the closest hotel to
Washington Reagan National Airport. The Hyatt offers a
complimentary shuttle service which picks up arriving guests
from the old terminal and then the new terminal at doors
5 and 9 near baggage claim. The shuttle to DCA begins
daily from 5: 30 am until midnight on a 20-minute rotation.
The shuttle leaves from the front door of the hotel lobby.
Guests should wait in the lobby to board the first available
“Airport” shuttle.
At Reagan National Airport, taxicab stands are conveniently
located near the Arrivals (baggage claim) exits of each terminal. Dispatchers at each stand will help you select a taxicab
based on your destination. No advance reservations are
required — service is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please
consult your taxicab operator regarding fares for taxi trips
back to the airport. Approximate fare from Reagan to the
hotel is $10.
From Washington Dulles Airport, no reservation is required
for a taxi. Simply go to the “Taxi Passengers” area on the
lower level of the Main Terminal, where a taxicab dispatcher
is on duty 24 hours a day. Approximate fare is $75.
From BWI, no reservation is necessary. Cabs are available
curbside outside Baggage Claim. Most cabs accept major
credit cards but you should ask before you enter the cab.
Local regulations require cabs to run the meter. Approximate
fare is $85.
Attire
Attire for the conference sessions is business casual. Speakers
and panelists are advised to wear business attire. The
Chairman’s Banquet will be at The National Building
Museum in Washington, DC and is the only event that is black
