Norman R. Taylor Award
IDEA’s Norman R. Taylor Award is the association’s “person
of the year” award. Named in honor of Norman R. Taylor, an
association president who passed away in 1986, the award
is presented in recognition of lifelong commitment and professional contributions to the advancement of the district energy
industry and the association.

System of the Year Award
IDEA’s System of the Year Award is presented annually to an
outstanding member district energy system recognizing operational excellence, energy efficiency and customer commitment
while contributing to the advancement of the district energy
industry.
