The Apple Alert is on…
Keep your eyes “peeled” and give anyone
who has a red apple on their ID badge
a warm IDEA welcome. The red apple
indicates a first-time attendee to our
conference. Please take the time to introduce yourself, and
acquaint our new guests with the association.
If you’re attending our conference for the first time, we’d
like to welcome you to our conference! We would also
encourage you to attend various forum meetings of
interest and volunteer to become more involved with the
association. We are pleased that you made the decision to
attend our 100th Annual Conference & Trade Show. If you
have any questions, please stop by the IDEA registration
desk, and the staff will be more than happy to assist you.
A Blue Ribbon Welcome…
In addition to the first-time
conference attendees, also be sure to
extend a special welcome to anyone
wearing a blue ribbon. (This indicates
a new IDEA member.) Please take a
few moments to introduce yourself, and
welcome these new members to the
association.
If you’re not a member and would like more
information on how you can become a member,
please stop by the IDEA registration desk or ask anyone
on staff or with a Board member ribbon.
“District energy is a local system abating a global challenge. A well-augmented district energy infrastructure used by leading cities around the world is now recognized as a pre-requisite to further promote renewable energy. District energy’s use mitigates climate change and promotes sustainable development and security of supply. The development
of a knowledge-based district energy industry creates jobs, economic growth,
competitiveness and regional and rural development.”
