NOTE: All of the membership categories, unless noted, are company
memberships. Each member company may designate at least one representative to the association. The representative(s) will receive all mailings
and will be listed in the membership directory. All employees of that
company are entitled to “member” discounts on publications, conference
registration fees, etc. (Should an individual leave a member company, the
IDEA membership stays with the company. Wholly owned subsidiaries of
IDEA company members are considered to be independent companies
and are to make separate applications for membership.)
IDEA’s membership year is from January 1 through
December 31.

Contributions or gifts to the International District Energy Association are
not deductible as charitable contributions for Federal Income Tax purposes.
Payment of Membership Dues may be deducted as an ordinary and necessary business expense, however, 30% of dues are allocated to lobbying
expense and therefore are not deductible as a business expense. Please
consult your tax advisor.
