IDEA offered two other half-day
pre-conference workshops: “Managing
Your Campus Carbon Footprint,” presented by Keith Driver, Baseline Emissions
Management, and Annika Colston, Blue
Source; and “Using Physical Plant Assets
as a Financial Hedge,” by Joe Hoose, Cool
Systems Inc., and Mike Webster, ICETEC.
Both sessions were nearly standing-room-only and provided detailed discussion

managing the risks for a campus utility
system. With the emergence of greenhouse gas regulations and oil trading at

in these workshops was highly valuable
