This year’s recipient of IDEA’s Norman R. Taylor
Award is IDEA President Rob Thornton. The
award is the highest honor IDEA can present to
one of its members. Cheryl Gomez presented
the award, stating that “IDEA is the strong,
vibrant, wonderful association it has become in
large part due to his tireless and dedicated service, his countless hours of hard work, and his
positive ‘can do’ attitude.”

gavel from Cheryl Gomez and then introduced the theme for the
coming year, “Leading the Way.”
Nalco Company was voted Best in Show by its exhibitor peers at IDEA’s
trade show. Steve Spiwak accepted the award from Cheryl Gomez.
