Welcome
April 2006
On behalf of all the employees of Metro Nashville District Energy System and Constellation Energy,
we invite you, your family and your colleagues to visit Nashville for IDEA’s 97th Annual Conference
& Trade Show.
The theme for the District Energy/CHP 2006 conference is “Today’s Solution, Tomorrow’s
Advantage.” Under the leadership of our conference technical chairmen, Johnathan Coleman and
Rick Pucak, we have assembled an exceptional series of presentations and panel discussions on a full
range of topics, including district energy’s role from a global perspective, project financing, district
cooling using renewable resources and operations enhancements.
The technical conference is enhanced by multiple networking opportunities and a
world-class trade show featuring more than 50 of IDEA’s business partners.
On Sunday evening, after a welcoming reception in the exhibit hall, you are invited
to join us for a special dinner at the Wildhorse Saloon. Bring your cowboy boots and
enjoy a night of fun with great food, line dancing and networking.
The conference will conclude with tours of the Metro Nashville District Energy
System, as well as tours of the district energy system at Vanderbilt University or a
tour of Perma-Pipe’s manufacturing facility.
Nashville, the Music City, is known worldwide for its music. The city is equally
celebrated for its natural beauty, classic architecture, world-class museums, outstanding athletic teams and famed Southern hospitality. Now, Nashville will also
be known as the host city of IDEA’s 97th Annual Conference and Trade Show.
Bring your family, your camera and your walking shoes and
get ready for an experience you will not soon forget.
Nashville welcomes you!
