Member access – On the right side of IDEA’s home page banner, click “Members Only” and then “IDEA Archives” from the drop-down menu. Enter your username and login (to obtain, email dina.idea@districtenergy.org). All downloads are free!

Non-member access – Access the archives at www. district energy.org/archives/. Downloads are just $5 each.

To search archives (member and non-member) – Once in the archives section, enter your desired keywords in

the “Filter” text box and select a field to search in the “Filter By” dropdown list. You can search through a specific field, i.e., just keywords, or just abstracts, or you can search through all the fields. You can also sort by a field by clicking on the header at the top of each listed columns. If your article is not displayed, try entering fewer search criteria or entering a different word with the same meaning, i.e., AHU instead of air handling unit, or CHP instead of combined heat and power.

Member downloads – If you are a member and have found a document, just click on the title of the document and you will be prompted to open or save the file. For better performance, save the file to your local hard drive before opening it.

Non-member downloads – If you are not a member and have found a document you wish to purchase, click on the title of the document. Then you will be taken to a shopping cart where the article can be added and purchased. You’ll receive an email with instructions to download the file.
